I bought this app at its early development version, so Ive seen BIG upgrades; it just shows the commitment growing this flashcard app functionality. Has a lot of sophisticated options now, like multiple choices, spelling, drawing, sounds and appearances. Best one is the ability to easily import lists made from an Excel sheet. Love the customizability yet its still simply focused on flashcards. After my purchased Ive been trying other flashcard apps; I find myself always returning to Flashcards Deluxe. Hope the development team continues the great work.

Wow! They added sync! Now this is the best and most complete flash card app in the world. Ive updated this to 5 stars.

Ive tried a few apps and this is the best. The website should have more clear instructions for uploading from excel on the computer, but I figured it out. Spaced repetition should be the default, not ordered. It took me awhile to find it.

Cant search, cant log in to get my flashcards in the saved version. Paid $4 for nothing.

This is an easy-to-use and VERY versatile App. I am able to do more with this App than any of the other flash card Apps that I was able to find.

Only issue is mine. Havent had time to learn the many features. Excellent in classroom environment.

This is by far the best Flashcard app I am aware of, and I have tried several. In addition to the wide range of possibilities (5-sided cards, spaced repetition review settings, etc.), they provide amazing support. All of my emails have been answered promptly and politely, and have been very helpful. Favourite app I own!!! I always recommend it.

.crashes every time I try to add a new card to a deck... very couterproductive please fix ========== Updated, so I created a deck via excel and dropbox sync, the experience was fantastic, not only was it much easier and effortless, but the level of customization it allows was also fantastic, good job developer

Meet all my requirement perfectly. I use it for my kids language study, so the 5 side function is great to makes it easy for 3 languages and pictures.

Would be really great if I could draw on the card while making it. I need to be able to write formulas and drawing them would be easiest. Couldnt find a way to do it when creating the flashcard, only an option to draw your answer

Its so great to have my flashcards available for a discreet review wherever and whenever I have a few minutes to spare. The Spaced Repetition mode is especially appreciated. I dont waste time studying material I already know well, yet it pops up every few weeks to make sure that Ive retained it over the long term. Update: I have now been using it for 365 days (average 45 min/day) and have 10 A+s at university to show for it.

Clear, simple, powerful... A really great flashcard app! Would love to be able to create additional folders within other folders, but otherwise the best flashcard app ive used.

Well I downloaded 6 other flashcard apps, spending over $20 Im sure. Since the updates, I decided to re-rate this app. Very good!! Congrats to the developer, ive only given 5stars, 3 times in my 3 years. "Spaced Repetition" setting :)

A lot of thought has gone into this app, resulting in a simple-to-use interface, with as much complexity as you would ever want. Check out the downloadable help file on the developers website to appreciate the apps flexibility, but be assured that even without the help file you can jump right in and start building your own decks. The best part is that Ill never have to download and struggle with another flashcard app!

Worst app. So hard to navigate. All I wanted was images at the back of my flash card. This app is so extremely hard to use. Do not download.

Very happy with this app. As it is a very complex and sophisticated piece of software, there is a bit of a learning curve when you start using it but eventually you figure that it has EVERYTHING that you need in a flashcard app. Brilliant.

This app is amazing and greatly refines studying - whether if its undergrad or MCATs. The enormous amount of options allows to fine tune the studying process. Well done. This is up there with goodreader (PDFs) and notability (note taking)

Excellent flashcard app, Ive synced many decks through quizlet and use it daily on the tube. Ive spent 3 hours studying in the last month, and some of this even starting to stick.

This is an incredible feature rich flash card application. I was easily able to build a picture flash card deck for my daughter study her geography and I loved building a custom audio flash deck with personal recordings to learn a second language. The export and full backup features are seamless with dropbox. You can export individual decks or multiple decks. The flexibility this application gives you to learn the material is awesome. You can auto-play like power point, choose to play the audio clips or not, manually browse the deck at your own pace, or go through it like a quiz and it will keep track of your score during each session + keep a running total (I love the shuffle deck feature and the category feature. You can categorize your cards into groups by topic and study one, some or all categories). If you want to update your cards on a bulk basis you have the convenience of using Microsoft Excel (check out youtube on how to easily work with Excel and the decks for this application). Theres simply no better IOS Flash Card application that Ive seen that even comes close to the features this one has. It is easily worth a $20 application for those seriously wanting to build their own self paced custom study material. $5 is a steal. The author allows you try the light version to see how it works so you absolutely cant go wrong on this. I quickly purchased the $5 full version and I have it loaded on both my i-phone and i-pad. With the dropbox export/import function, my flash cards are current in all places. This is an absolutely amazing study tool.

Awesome app for learning languages! Using it every day for months now. Easy to sync up between all my devices.
