Still the best flash card app for many years and counting. Up to 5 sides per card. Audio and photo importing seamless. Categories. Quizzes. Online upload (excel) or from quizlet or make them on the fly in the app. But if I could request one more function, it would be tags... Thank you!!!

I purchased this app many years ago, yet prior to my purchase I had to research all flashcard apps. At the time, this was the best flashcard app. I set my flashcard studies aside for a few years, and about six months ago started studying my foreign language cards again. With how quickly technology changes, I wanted to make sure I had the best “new” app out there, but to my surprise (well, not really), this app came out far ahead! Hands down this app wins! There are so many features I could share, but a couple that I really enjoy are the "Browse Mode" that allows me to listen to it while Im driving, jogging, etc… and instead of downloading the standard language associated with the flashcards, I can use SIRI to automatically read each card, which requires no download. This has proven to be really amazing in getting my foreign language flashcard readings as close to native as possible. This app is great for all levels of flashcard users! Yet, if one did want to utilize this app to its fullest, Im sure he/she would be perfectly content. I recently had a question about the app and emailed support, which appears to be one person. I was thoroughly impressed with the turnaround! This is the my most favored app I have, and I have a lot! Ive never written a review, but have wanted to write one for this app for years. Well, it was the great customer support I received that finally prompted me to write a review in hopes that it may help others.

Ive been using this app for years. Im so glad the developer keeps it up to date with new phones and iOS versions. The option of using leitner for studying for an upcoming test or spaced repetition for learning stuff on my own time, works very well. If I ever need to memorize lots of information, this is the first place I go. Keep up the good work.

Ive used this app for many subjects, but Ive had particular success with their decks for languages and the various settings that can be used. The drawing pad and three sided cards are awesome for students of Chinese and Japanese. Ive been using this app for YEARS and I love it!

I love this flash card app, especially the option for 5 sides and the ability to put pictures on each of those 5 sides. However, it crashes A LOT. It often crashes as Im inputting information, losing everything that I typed in. Its bad enough that Im looking for a new app...except that this is the only one Ive found with more than 5 sides.

There are a number of free apps, but I decided to go with this one because of the interface. It makes reviewing cards easy just by swiping your answer. If like to tap your result, you can do that too although I havent tried it. I was able to easily find a card set on quizlet.com and load it into the app. I also created a spreadsheet out of the same data on OS X and put it in the apps folder on Dropbox. Now, when I make changes to the cards, its just a few clicks to update the deck. I only used the app for a few days. The only complaint I have is that the icon is from ancient days of skeumorphism. I can live with that.

This app has helped me get through learning Korean vocab. Been using it almost daily for over a year and still love it. Developer replied quickly to small query.

Split Screen support doesnt work right. The screen remains at the same scale size as full-size, so cannot see the full flashcards in quarter/half-view. Please fix!

Being able to assign colors to all aspects of not just flashcards, but the app itself, is why I chose FLASHCARDS DELUXE. The thoughtful customization of this app is what other developers should learn from.

I tried them all and have been using this flash card app for years. Got many IT certs using this to study. Also use it for work related stuff that I need to remember. I use on iPhone 6s Plus and iPad mini. I mirror it onto my living room LCD TV through Apple TV and I have a Satechi Bluetooth remote that I recently discovered you can use.

Congrats! Youve stumbled upon what may be the greatest flashcard app and one of the best apps in general. Few developers are as responsive, loyal, and dedicated as this one. While other app makers simply make a version 2 and slap on a new price tag, this one has kept with the times and steadfastly updated. Furthermore, the app itself is powerful and customizable. It may seem a little daunting at first, but it is completely worth it. Best $4 youll ever spend on the app store. Update: Still going strong! Please give it a spin and support this awesome developer! You know an app is truly great when the dev himself uses it for his own purposes.

Nothing else competes, and I wouldnt need it even if it did because this one is more than enough. Well put together.

Best flash card program ever and very good support from the author. This app justified purchasing an iPad and iPod for me. It includes nice features that you cant get with other SRS apps like auto play of decks with the sound and background music for getting more studying in while driving or cleaning. The interface is clean, simple, but powerful. This is my most used app on my phone by far.

This is an app that continues to get better and better. Unlike what Ive seen with other app updates, these developers correctly recognize what enhancements are useful. This app is an excellent tool for studying.

Buyer BEWARE! I paid the money, followed each step, watched the YouTube tutorials and the flash cards still would NOT work or sync. Emailed the developer for help, sent screen shots and finally requested a refund and he has NOT responded at all! FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL.

Update: Thanks for the update. They always remind me to get back at my flash cards!! --- Simple to use or if you want to dig into its capabilities it is also very powerful and feature rich. Love how I can backup to Dropbox. I appreciate the regular updates.

This is the best flash cards app on the iOS by a very long shot. Been using it for years, never regretted the purchase. Dev keeps updating with awesome new features too (like Dropbox sync).

I used Anki for over 5 years (before it was an app) and Flashcards Deluxe is far superior because it is at the same time simpler to use and more powerful. I have 5 SIDED!! flashcards going with first a picture, then pronunciations in the foreign language and my own, and later the writing in the foreign script including cursive. The developer is very responsive and has steadily grown the app over the years. And unlike others, it plays nice with online repositories like Quizlet. It is super easy to download new decks or share yours. This app is flexible enough for anything. I also use it to memorize quotes. Well worth the money.
